Summer Flies By

Kenzie and cousin Marisal.

Howdy all from Brityn.

Marisal - hollywood bound???

One of my favorite recent pics of Niah & Madilyn - who thinks these two will stay out of trouble when they are in high school?

My kids (& kids-in-law) have been working overtime on our house this summer. The bathrooms are repaired and remodeled, new flooring in the dining room and kitchen is in, countertops finished and carpet is done in the living room and halls. It was like coming home to a totally new place - what a blessing. Work has kept us pretty busy the past month and a half so I haven't much for new pics. Maybe soon. The girls are getting so big. They each have their own unique style and personality. Niah (3) not only matches her clothing and accessories but the color of her drawing paper as well! Brityn (1) is always a joy, especially when she scowls at papa - one of her favorite things to do! Madilyn (2) is always going, going like the energizer bunny but she'll stop and help you with whatever you are doing around the house. She loves being a big sister to Marisal. Marisal (7 mos) is such a happy and content baby. She will just sit on the floor and play with her toys for the longest time. MyKenzie (6) is in 1st grade and so grown up. She is kind, loving and always wanting to help with the little ones.

Moving Month

Walter, Margaret and George have all gotten new homes in the last month. Walt moved towards the west end of Billings, in a really nice quiet neighborhood. We all knew it was the house for Kori and him as soon as we saw it. I don't have any pictures yet, but soon.

Margaret took the huge step and bought her first home in Kansas City--perfect for her. We loved it when we went house hunting with her. She justed moved this week. We're excited to go and visit and help her get settled.

Chandra and George also found their dream house! They are moving June 29th. They'll have plenty of room for those girls. What a blessing for them - they only had their house on the market for 2 1/2 weeks before it sold. They won't be around the corner anymore but will still be close - only about 5 minutes away, right near the elementary school and a park with a kid's pool.

We're in the middle of a bathroom repair project, it has not been a pleasant experience for anyone, especially the boys. Walt & George are doing the fixing up - and getting pretty burnt out. We are really lucky to have the motorhome because its been our only bathroom & shower for a while now. Maybe we'll be the next ones moving - into a one level!!!

Summer Already?? Girls! Girls! Girls

Always the fashionistas - MyKenzie (6) and Niah (3) put on a jewlry fashion show for grandma.

Marisal (4 months) adores her big sister Madilyn. Madilyn loves being a big sister. I wonder if it will last when Marisal wants her toys???

Brityn (1) is on the move!! She is such a joy and her eyes light up the room. She will even allow her cousin Madilyn to feed her.
The pictures really say it all. Niah (3) has the most wonderful personality. Here she is dancing and singing in the front yard. For Madilyn (2) playing with her cousin and best friend Niah is the best. They are both very imaginative and adventurous.

Winter Splendor?

As Christmas approaches we once again focus on how blessed we are with our family and by the Lord. From our house to yours - have a wonderful, save holiday. Merry Christmas!

Wally and I headed home from the beautiful, warm Arizona weather to spend the holidays in Montana. Its been below zero and when it warms up the slightest, it snows!! I'm not too sure about this winter stuff anymore.

Starr has been delighted to have Dakota to play with, they tear around the house usually chasing the poor cat who has tried to escape the cold. We're still awaiting our new granddaughter - she is due January 31st. We're excited but sure hope the weather warms up some while we wait.

It has been a complete joy to be around the kids and grandkids. The girls change so much every week. Madilyn is 2 going on 30; Niah has the most wonderful, sensitive and hilarious personality; MyKenzie is all grown up now at 5; and Brityn has such a peace and beauty that you just want to cuddle her all of the time.
I've launched my own candle distributorship and getting that rolling fills my days. I love the products and it was a tough decision for me since I'm just not terribly outgoing nor the salesperson type. Wish me luck and check out my website: http://www.bestofscents.com/

Madilyn Turns Two!!

The gang is all here to help open those presents I've been waiting for....

...I don't know mom, is this my color? Nice style!
Wow!! do I dare attack that cake? Someone get me a ladder....

Madilyn will be little red riding hood for Halloween. This is the costume that I made her. She looks so adorable!!

Autumn Splendor

Zion is so beautiful!!

We are taking in the sights around Southern Utah. Here are some of the pictures we took at Zion National Park, Quail Creek State Park, and Red Cliffs. Starr especially likes the adventures each day. The weather has been so wonderful.

Quail Creek is only about 5 minutes from where we are staying, a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere.

Summer Running Away

I am amazed each day at how fast summer is flying by. Madilyn (21 months) loves the pool, playing with her cousins and best of all having her own "pony" in the house - Dakota. Fortunately for Madilyn, Dakota adores Madilyn and tolerates her "love." Madilyn enjoys helping me around the house, especially when it comes to doing dishes!

My tiniest angel - Brityn is almost 4 months old now. She is the happiest baby and just seems to enjoy each day to the fullest. She discovered her jumper this week and loves it - indoors and out.

My princess, MyKenzie (5) will be starting kindergarten in about 1 week. I cannot believe how fast she has grown. It is a heartbreak for me!! Here the girls are playing so nicely together - the little ones Niah (2) and Madilyn (1 1/2) aren't even fighting over any toys. What a lovely peaceful memory. I guess you can all tell how happy grandma is to be home with her girls. I wish these days could last forever.
